Reservations
A refundable deposit of 30% of the total cost of the safari is required at the time of booking to confirm reservation, and the balance of the tour cost is payable not later that 45 days prior to departure. Not withstanding any prior confirmation of arrangement the right is reserved not to execute tours if payment has not been received in accordance with the foregoing. In the event of cancellation, notice of which must be given in writing, the following cancellation fees will apply:
If cancelled within 45 days and 25 days of departure date 20% of the tour cost will be charged
If cancelled within 25 days and 11 days 40% of the tour cost will be charged
If cancelled within 10 days the cancellation will be 100% of the total tour cost |

Payments
Payment is made in form of Visa Card, Master Card or Cash. However, use of credit cards attracts a 4% surcharge with the bank. The deposits can be paid by telegraphic transfer direct to our Nairobi bank account (Advise us when this is done so that we can confirm with you upon our receipt), full details of which follow:

Rates
Rates include all expenses in connection to the vehicle and with hotel accommodation being on full board basis including table’hote meals whilst on safari. Accommodation at the coast is normally on a half board basis while in Nairobi arrangements are on a bed and breakfast basis unless otherwise stated. Any air costs for flights as indicated in the itinerary will be included. We also include Government hotel taxes, hotel service charges, and as applicable to the itinerary; all park entry fees unless specifically quoted separately in the price list. Not included are any departure taxes, visa, gratuities (other than service charges), beverages, telephone bills, laundry and other such personal expenses. |

Accommodation
For all lodge and luxury camping accommodation we book rooms with private showers throughout on the basis of two persons sharing a double room. Single rooms are available at a supplementary cost. Hotels/lodges/camps, where mentioned, are named as an indication of category but rooms may be reserved as similar hotels/lodges/camps, if circumstances demand. Transportation safari minibuses, safari cruisers, cars, four-wheel drive vehicles or coaches will be provide according to the route and number of participants. The right is reserved to employ the services of sub-contractors. English speaking guides are generally provided. |

Alterations to Tours
The right is reserved to change any route or arrangements should conditions so necessitate, or to cancel the operation of any scheduled tour. The right is also reserved to decline to accept or retain any person as a member of any tour at any time. Under any circumstances, a substitute will be offered of equal value or an equitable amount will be refunded.
Liability
(a) The Company and its agents act only as agents of the passenger in all matters relating to hotel accommodation, sightseeing, tour and transport, whether by aircraft, rail, road, motor coach, ship boat, or any other means, and shall not be liable for injury, delay, loss or damage arising from any manner howsoever except when the passenger is being carried in transport owned by the Company.
(b) The Company’s liability to passenger carried in its own vehicles is governed by the respective laws of the country in which the tour takes place and no other country and all claims are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the country in which the cause of action arises.
(c) The Company reserves the right to employ sub-contractors to carry out all or any part of the services agreed to be supplied and in the event of the exercise of such right the terms of clause (b) relating to the Company’s liability shall apply.
(d) Whilst every care is taken, the Company cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to baggage. It is therefore advisable to effect baggage insurance. |

Children
(a) Under the age of 12, children sharing a room with two adults generally pay 50 per cent of the adult rate quoted. This does not apply to air and balloon safaris.
(b) Children under 8 years are not permitted at the following lodges/camps: Treetops, Shimba, Salt Lick, The Ark, Mountain Lodge and Larsens. Other restrictions may be imposed from time to time. |
