Scenic Safari

Combining four of the renowned national parks and game reserves in Kenya, this safari ensures that you stand an excellent chance of seeing the ‘’big five’’ giving you one of the most rewarding safari experiences. The safari incorporates travelling by road to maximize the scenic experience and flying to the Masai Mara to reduce road travelling time.

Day 1 & 2 Collection from Nairobi Airport (JKIA) where the SLA representative will brief you on the safari before departing to Samburu Game Reserve famous for its unusual wildlife. Two nights will be spent at the Serena Safari Lodge situated on the fertile banks of the Uaso Nyiro River. The lodge is built using local materials blending with the environment. Rooms have en-suite facilities and verandahs overlooking the river. Activities to include morning and afternoon game drives. Optional activities to include nature walks are available.

Day 3 Drive to Treetops, the original "tree lodge’’, legendary for its historical (British Royal) connection and for the animals it attracts. The lodge is on stilts and has four decks and a rooftop platform for game viewing

Day 4 & 5 Fly to the Masai Mara Game Reserve renowned for its abundant wildlife where you will spend two nights at the Mara Serena Lodge. Evening entertainment includes Masai cultural dances, wildlife films and talks given by a resident naturalist with morning and evening game drives.

Day 6 & 7 Return to Nairobi where your driver will be waiting to transfer you to the famous barbeque "Carnivore Restaurant’’ for lunch. Leave for Amboseli with en-route game drive to arrive at Amboseli Serena Lodge in the evening, set in the shadow of Mt Kilimanjaro beside a copse of giant Acacia trees and a gently flowing natural spring. Morning and afternoon game drives are available for the next two nights.

Day 8 Return to Nairobi for your onward connection for the international flight. Alternatively if time allows take an optional Nairobi excursion or extend to the Indian Ocean Coast of Mombasa, Malindi, Lamu or Zanzibar.
