Kenya Highlights


This safari visits most of the popular national parks in Kenya, highlighting the vast wilderness and scenery in Kenya. The safari has been designed as a circuit starting from the central region, proceeding north and finally south by road.

Day 1 Collection from Nairobi Airport (JKIA) where you will be met by the SLA representative who will brief you on the safari before departing to ‘’Ark’’, the most famous game viewing lodge overlooking a water hole and salt lick high in the Aberdares National Park. The lodge is dedicated to game viewing, with the accommodation being compact and cosy.

Day 2 & 3 Drive to Samburu Game Reserve. The highlights of this reserve is the spectacular scenic beauty, rivers and colourful cultural heritage. Unique animals such as the Reticulated Giraffe and Grevys Zebra are also found in the reserve. Enjoy some of the most rewarding game drives for the next two evenings. Optional excursions to Masai villages can be arranged.

Day 4 Drive to ‘’Sweetwaters’’ Tented Camp which lies in the heart of the privately owned 22,000 acre Sweetwaters Game Reserve and which overlooks a floodlit water hole where there is ample opportunity to view animals in their natural habitat. Activities to include a visit to the Chimpanzee Sanctuary and evening game drive in the reserve.

Day 5 Drive to Sarova Lion Hill, a beautiful retreat set in Lake Nakuru National Park which boasts a rich concentration of wildlife and also a Rhino Sanctuary. Evening game drive will be available.

Day 6 &7 The following morning transfer to Mara Serena Lodge for an adventure filled two days in the Masai Mara Game Reserve.

Day 8 Drive to Lake Naivasha Simba Lodge for overnight. All rooms have en-suite facilities, ceiling fans and comfortable sitting area.

Day 9 Return to Nairobi for the onward connection with your international flight. If time allows take an optional Nairobi excursion or extend to the Indian Ocean Coast of Mombasa Malindi, Lamu or Zanzibar.
