Day 1 Collection from Nairobi Airport (JKIA) and transfer to the Norfolk hotel the oldest hotel in Kenya but of course with the best amenities (5 stars) where you will have time to relax and enjoy the hotel’s excellent facilities.
Day 2 & 3 Collection from the hotel and transfer to Wilson Airport for the 0730 hrs light aircraft flight to Tortilis Camp set on one of the remaining areas of unspoilt woodland in Amboseli National Park. The main lodge is set on a small hill with wonderful views of the countryside to Mount Kilimanjaro. Each of the 15 luxury tents has en-suite facilities, verandah and is positioned to provide privacy. Meals are mainly home made Italian cooking featuring fresh herbs and vegetables grown on the premises. During your two nights stay you will have adventures such as walking, morning and afternoon game drives and optional excursions.
Day 4,5 & 6 Return to Nairobi by the 0830 hrs light aircraft flight and connect with your 1000 hrs/1500 hrs flight to the Masai Mara to any of the four Governor’s Camps as described in the accommodation section. Africa’s first luxury tented camp located on the banks of the Mara River with unequalled views of the Mara plains. All accommodation is spacious with en-suite facilities and verandah as expected of a 5 star hotel. Meals are served in the open overlooking the river by candlelight. Game drives are by four-wheel vehicles. Optional walks with professional guides are also available.
Day 7 After a wonderful three night safari in the Masai Mara return by the 1600 hrs light aircraft to Nairobi for your international flight back home. Alternatively you may wish to extend your holiday to the Indian Ocean Coast of Mombasa, Malindi, Lamu or the Island of Zanzibar. If time allows before your flight take an optional Nairobi excursion. |
