Exotic Ranch Safari |

This safari combines three remote private ranches in the Tsavo National Park, Amboseli National Park and the renowned Masai Mara Game Reserve. The safari will involve travelling by road to Tsavo and Amboseli to maximize and enjoy the exhilarating scenery and flying to the Mara to reduce road travelling time.

Day 1 Collection from Nairobi Airport (JKIA) where you will be met by a SLA representative and transfer to The Norfolk Hotel for your overnight stay.
Day 2 & 3 Collection from the hotel at 0630 hrs and depart to Campi ya Kanzi perched on a panoramic shoulder for the lush Chyulu Hills andwhich looks out over the game-rich plains beneath Mount Kilimanjaro. Accommodation is in permanent tents built on wooden platforms with thatched roofs. Each room has en-suite facilities and verandah overlooking the Tsavo Hills and Mt. Kilimanjaro. Paraffin lamps provide light in order to give the real atmosphere of the “Grand African Safari”. The next two nights will be spent exploring the diverse ranch on foot or by four-wheel drive vehicles.
Day 4 & 5 Drive to Amboseli National Park where two nights will be spent at the Porini Camp which offers one of Africa’s most authentic camping safaris in one of the wildest destinations in Masai country. Porini Camp has six spacious tents sited among shady Acacia Tortilis trees. The tents are large and comfortably furnished with ensuite facilities. Adventure includes day and night game drives and escorted nature walks.
Day 6 & 7 Drive to Nairobi and transfer to Wilson Airport for the 1500 hrs flight to Saruni Safari Camp, a new deluxe and intimate tented lodge set in a private conservation area outside the game reserve. The tents are furnished with Colonial antiques, Persian carpets and African art. Activities for the next two days to include game drives and escorted nature walks.
Day 8 Return by the 1100 hrs light aircraft flight to Nairobi to connect with your onward flight back home. Alternatively if time allows before your flight take an optional Nairobi excursion or you may extend your holiday to the Indian Ocean Coast of Mombasa, Malindi, Lamu or the Island of Zanzibar. |
