Day 1 & 2 Collection from Kilimanjaro Airport
in Tanzania where a SLA representative will be waiting to assist
and transfer you to Tarangire National Park covering 2600 sq km.
This park is well known for some of the largest herds of Elephant
in Africa, its Baobab tree forest which harbours some rare
animals species such as the Greater Kudu, Fringe Eared Oryx and
Wild Dog. For the next two nights accommodation will be at Tarangire
Sopa Lodge lying hiddenamong the Kopje, commanding panoramic views
of the park. Game drives will be available.
Day 3 Drive to Lake Manyara National Park famous
for its unusual tree climbing Lions. Two nights will be at Lake
Manyara Serena Lodge on the edge of the Mto Wa Mbu escarpment overlooking
the Great Rift Valley and the stunning Manyara Soda Lake. Game drives
are recommended at this park. Optional excursions and walking safaris
are available by request
Day 4 The following day drive to Ngorongoro Serena
Lodge built into the rim of the dormant volcano. The plant and ivy covered
native stone blends perfectly with the surroundings. Guest rooms
have private verandah with views of the crater. Game drives will
be at the spectacular crater floor.
Day 5 & 6 Drive to Serengeti defined by countless
big game and plains animals. The terrain is the main stage for the
great wildebeest migrations, an awesome spectacle. Activities to
include morning and evening game drives.
Day 7 Drive to Ngorongoro Serena Lodge where guests
co-exist in perfect harmony with the natural environment and the
wildlife that inhabits it. Game drives will be on the crater floor.
Day 8 Return to Kilimanjaro Airport to connect
with your onward flight. If time allows take an optional Nairobi
excursion or alternatively extend your holiday to the Indian Ocean
Coast of Zanzibar, Malindi, Mombasa or Lamu. |
