NORTH MADAGASCAR
Long ago, rivers carved out deep narrow canyons, dug out caves and smoothed over the rough places in Tsingy valleys, creating a fairytale landscape. The area is calcareous deposit which was formed in the Jurassic era and partially covered by forest. Once near the karstic relieves, you proceed on foot to discover deep crevasses hollowed out by water that marks this lunar like valley , a landscape that seems to belong to another planet.

Day 1 EUROPE –ANTANANARIVO- DIEGO-SUAREZ
Arrival at Airport Ivato, flight to DIEGO SUAREZ.
Arrival at DIEGO, transfer to the hotel.
Accommodation on bed and breakfast at the hotel.
Day 2 DIEGO SUAREZ - “ MONTAGNE D’AMBRE ” - DIEGO SUAREZ
An impressive visit to the Montagne d'Ambre, the national park of the North, 32 KM. The massif has a humid, tropical and microclimate. As in many parts of the island, the flora is very rich: big endemic trees, epiphyt plants, and medicinal plants. And the fauna is typical of humid forest: many species of diurnal and nocturnal Lemurs, butterflies, invertebrates, birds… You’ll be fascinated by the cascades, the Antankarana’s ritual objects.
Picnic lunch.
Back to the hotel in the afternoon.
Accommodation on bed and breakfast at the hotel.
Day 3DIEGO SUAREZ - TSINGY OF ANKARANA
Departure early to the south, passage by native forest of Ankarana.
Arrival at the end of the morning at the American Campment at the west side of the Tsingy in a savannah arid area. Installation of the camp and accommodation on full-board basis at the Campment.
According to the season and to your physical conditions :
1- Visit of the Big Tsingy and the Green Lake
2 - Visit of the Small Tsingy and the Red Tsingy
Day 4 ANKARANA - ANKIFY
Discover of the exceptional landscape of the Tsingy of Ankarana, the bat’s grotto and the water siphon.
Opportunity to admire a large variety of ornamental plants growing on the calcareous deposit: kalanchoe, pachypodium, fern and orchids.
Picnic lunch under the acacia trees.
Continuation to ANKIFY, leaving the track. We pass through the Sambirano and its aromatic plantations of vetiver , palma rosa , cocoa.
Dinner and night at the hotel.
Day 5 ANKIFY - NOSY BE
In the morning, departure to NOSY BE by private motorboat

Transfer from the harbour to hotel.
Free at leisure.
Dinner and night at the hotel of your choice .
