Combining Tsavo one of the world’s leading bio-diversity areas and Amboseli, Kenya’s international biosphere, the safari is ideal for photography due to the unlimited sunlight and the expanse of the Yatta Plateau-the world largest lava flow with the captivating feature of the simmering dry lake bed where false mirages of populated horizons, interspersed with herds of Zebra and Gnu hover in front of visitors.

Day 1 Collection from your resort in Mombasa where you will be met by a SLA representative who will brief you on the safari before departing to Tsavo East and to Voi Safari Lodge located near two water holes where animals frequent giving guests close animal viewing. There will be an en-route and afternoon game drive in the park.
Day 2 & 3 Drive to Amboseli through the Chyulu Hills across the fascinating Shetani Lava Flow, a volcanic destruction which is less than 200 years old. Two nights will be spent at the Amboseli Serena Safari with unrivalled views of Mt Kilimanjaro. Activities to include morning and afternoon game drives.
Day 4 & 5 Depart to Tsavo National Park, Kenya’s largest. Two nights will be at Kilaguni Lodge, one of the most historic, but now newly renovated safari lodges. The expansive verandah overlooks a water hole usually surrounded by game, and on a clear day the vista of Mount Kilimanjaro can be seen. Afternoon game drive will be undertaken in this vast park.
Day 6 Return to Mombasa after a five day action filled adventure in these diverse parks. |
