Day 1: Arrive Nairobi
Welcome to Nairobi, Kenya’s vibrant capital city. After clearing and immigration formalities you will be met and transferred to the Nairobi Serena Hotel a member of the Leading Hotels of the World for overnight. This elegantly sophisticated Hotel stands amidst lush tropical gardens with panoramic views of Nairobi’s Central Park and the glittering towers of downtown Nairobi. The tranquil setting belies its location – just moments from most of the city attractions, including art and cultural institutions, shopping, nightlife, and entertainment. Guest will enjoy the exceptional standards of accommodation, fine cuisine and the state of the art health club. Meal plan is bed and breakfast.

Day 2: Amboseli
Ol Tukai offers a panorama of landscape, sky and wildlife with the massive majesty of snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro in the distance. The lodge is camouflaged in a forest of fever trees and palms, with spacious guest chalets built from local gum trees and pale slate, and featuring a sitting area and bedroom. Impressive wooden walkways cross green lawns leading to the airy main lodge, artfully designed using natural materials. There is a lovely swimming pool and an open-air bar dramatically positioned to overlook the wetlands.
Day 3: Amboseli
A dawn game drive will be provided with Mount Kilimanjaro in the background providing perfect photography moments. We return to the lodge for breakfast and some R&R “rest and relaxation”, sunbathing, swimming or for those of you reading enthusiasts, you can read the day away in the well-stocked library with a relaxing view of Mt. Kilimanjaro, before heading out for an afternoon game drive. All meals and overnight will be at the Lodge.
Day 4: Sweetwaters
We depart after an early breakfast to Sweetwater’s Tented Camp situated in one of the only four private game reserves in Kenya. This Camp offers a charming blend of under canvas ambiance and comfort and it has long been the preferred retreat of wilderness and safari lovers alike. Enjoy the seclusion and private game viewing. The en suite tents have magnificent views across the plains to the snow capped peaks of Mount Kenya. Activities on offer include game drives in the secluded and private game reserve, and also a visit to the unique Chimpanzee Sanctuary in the afternoon. Meal plan is full board.
Day 5: Lake Nakuru
Today we drive through some of the most exciting scenery giving you an unrivalled view of the majestic Great Rift Valley. Our destination is Lake Nakuru National Park with its huge concentrations of flamingos that inhabit the shallow, alkaline lake, along with the Marabou Stork and pelican. Scout the magnificent yellow-barked acacia trees for the elusive napping leopards. Look for incredible wildlife, such as the endangered Rothschild’s giraffe, white and black rhino, lion, buffalo, hippo, waterbuck and baboon.
Accommodation will be at the Flamingo Hill Camp whose en suite guest tents are decorated in calming safari tones, natural woods, and wrought iron and crisp cottons. In the afternoon a game drive will be provided in the park. Meal plan is full board.
Day 6: Masai Mara
Our destination is the Masai Mara arguably the world's most famous game reserve with unrivalled natural beauty and wildlife concentration. Enthusiastic animal watchers came to see the millions of wildebeest and thousands of zebra, lions, gazelle, cheetah, elephant and other species in the most densely game populated enclave in the world. Two overnights will be at Mara Serena Lodge which has been designed to mirror a traditional Masai village with the guest rooms located in individually domed huts grouped in a circular manner. Each room has a private balcony with views that stretch over the vast Africa landscape. A late afternoon game drive will be provided. Meal plan is full board.
Day 7: Masai Mara
Have amazing morning and late afternoon game drives. Our expert guides are all seasoned-professionals and have an amazing eye for finding the animals, birds and reptiles for which the Masai Mara is so justifiably famous. Your guide will explain the animal behavior – and because of his expertise and experience, will take you to the best locations for the season to maximize your safari experience. Return to the Lodge for a well deserved rest and overnight. Meal plan is full board.
Day 8: Masai Mara / Nairobi
After breakfast we depart by road for Nairobi to arrive in the late afternoon (lunch is an optional extra). In the evening a complimentary dinner will be provided at the Carnivore a meat specialty restaurant. Later you will be dropped of at your nominated address after an exciting safari.
