Day 1: Fly Nairobi / Masai Mara
On arrival at the Airport you will be met and driven to Wilson for the scheduled flight to Mara. Your driver guide will be waiting to drive you to the luxurious Ngerende Island Lodge where we are booked for three nights. Ngerende has just seven sumptuous en-suite built on raised platforms that provide delightful panoramic views down onto the Mara River and the woodland on the bank, opposite. Each elegant tent has polished mahogany flooring (including the terrace) and is extremely spacious. Each has an open plan sleeping and living area, complete with fireplace; bathroom providing both a massage shower, open air bath (if desired) twin hand wash basins and flushing toilet. Each suit is attended by a butler who also waits on the guests at mealtimes. Have lunch and a short nap. Later in the afternoon you take your first game drive in the Conservancy abundant in plains games, predators and a myriad of birds. Meal plan is all inclusive.
Day 2 & 3: Masai Mara
You have another few days to enjoy the splendors of what the Mara has to offer. Guests enjoy an intimate and relaxed stay and the pace of your safari may be as active or as leisurely as you wish. A wide range of activities are offered including walks with the resident naturalist, visits to the nearby Masai village (entrance extra), a visit to the local school, sundowners, bush meals weather permitting and game drives in the Conservancy. Guests may also relax by the pool or spend some rejuvenating moments at the spa (optional extra) .Meal plan is all inclusive.
Day 4: Drive to Serengeti
After breakfast we depart with picnic boxes for a long drive to the Serengeti defined by countless miles of rolling plains that offer one of the greatest wildlife spectacles. Undergo immigration facilities at the Sirare border and cross over into Tanzania. Accommodation for two nights will be at Kirawira Tented Camp that stands high on a bluff with views over the endlessly rolling reaches of the Serengeti. The camp is the epitome of a colonial-style safari camp featuring tasteful chintz lounges, Persian rugs, antique escritoires, wind-up phonographs, and leather-bound travelling cases. The decor of the elegant guest tents is a clever blend of classic opulence and safari practicality with stained glass and hogany bars, a private stone terrace for Sundowners and a private valet for service. Meal plan is full board.
Day 5: Serengeti
We awaken to the sounds of the African bush and after breakfast we depart with picnic lunches for a day exploring the depths of the Serengeti. We return to the Camp in the late afternoon for a welcome rest and fine cuisine. Meal plan is full board.
Day 6: Southern Serengeti
Today we drive to the southern Serengeti with a game drive en route to Sanctuary Kusini built on a raised kopje surrounded by woodland - providing stunning views of the plains below from the main deck. The camp has twelve luxury tents shaded from the sun by acacia trees, and are all positioned carefully with thought out views of the surrounding plains. Each tent has its own personal attendant to look after guests during their stay and a private wooden verandah with comfortable furniture, the ideal spot to relax for a sundowner. Meal plan includes all beverages (with the exception of champagne) and laundry services.
Day 7: Southern Serengeti
Kusini is one of the great places in the world to see large predators – lion, cheetah and leopard that often lie in the kopjes nearby the camp. Between January and March the great migration returns to the area around Kusini and wildebeest and zebra cover the plains as they give birth to their young. The treeless plains in this area provide the perfect habitat for cheetah that has made this area of the park their permanent home. Guests will enjoy the splendors of what the Serengeti has to offer. Meal plan includes all beverages (with the exception of champagne) and laundry services.
Day 8 & 9: Ngorongoro
Our destination is the Ngorongoro Crater and we will make a call at Olduvai Gorge, where for more then fifty years the Leaky family has been uncovering fossils of our human ancestors and of animal life. We arrive in time for lunch at The Manor Situated in the 1500 acre Shangri-La Estate and a reminiscent of an elegant, up-country farm home in the Cape Dutch style architecture. Accommodation is in luxurious cottages, each commanding fantastic views of the landscape and surrounded by fragrant flower gardens and age-old trees. The interiors are plush and beautifully appointed with period furniture evoking an old world charm. This outstanding property provides an unforgettable wildlife experience and the utmost in luxury and hospitality.

Day 9: Ngorongoro
Today we explore the Ngorongoro Crater one of the natural wonders of the world. This is a perfect caldera, one of the largest in the world offering a spectacular wildlife haven. Over 30 000 animals inhabit the deep crater, making this one of the few places in Africa where guests spend a memorable morning exploring the breadth and depth of this natural wonder with a great chance of seeing the entire Big Five in the course of a single game drive. Guests may enjoy the wide range of optional excursions such as the wine cellar, horseback riding, biking, coffee tasting and tours of the estate, tennis courts etc. Meal plan will include drinks (except premium brands) and laundry.
Day 10: Fly Nairobi / Depart
After breakfast a transfer will be provided to the Airport for the flight back to Nairobi. If time allows enjoy a complimentary dinner at the Carnivore Restaurant and later an evening transfer will be provided to Jomo Kenyatta Airport for your departure flight.
