Day 1: Arrive Nairobi
Welcome to Nairobi, Kenya’s vibrant capital city. After clearing and immigration formalities you will be met and transferred to the Fairmont Norfolk Hotel one of Kenya’s oldest hotel which has  played a leading role in Kenya's colorful history  and continues to be Nairobi's finest and best-known hotel.
Lunch and or dinner under own arrangement.

Day 2: The Ark
Today we drive to the Ark situated in the Aberdares Mountains. This tree-lodge is uniquely shaped to resemble the actual Ark, designed with decks from which numerous balconies and lounges provide superb vantage points for viewing the animals visiting the salt-lick and waterhole. A ground-level bunker provides excellent photographic opportunities, and the waterhole is floodlit by night to enable all-night viewing of game. A 'Resident Hunter' is always on hand to elucidate on the wildlife and landscape. Meal plan is full board.All guests staying at the Ark will have lunch at the Aberdare Country Club and later will be transferred to the Lodge by bus. Guests are only allowed a small overnight case and the rest of the luggage is left under secure storage at the Club.

Day 3: Lake Nakuru

Today we drive through some of the most exciting scenery giving you an unrivalled view of the majestic Great Rift Valley. Our destination is Lake Nakuru National Park with its huge concentrations of flamingos that inhabit the shallow, alkaline lake, along with the Marabou Stork and pelican. Scout the magnificent yellow-barked acacia trees for the elusive napping leopards. Look for incredible wildlife, such as the endangered Rothschild’s giraffe, white and black rhino, lion, buffalo, hippo, waterbuck and baboon.Accommodation will be at the Flamingo Hill Camp whose en suite guest tents are decorated in calming safari tones, natural woods, and wrought iron and crisp cottons. In the afternoon a game drive will be provided in the park. Meal plan is full board.

 

Day 4: Masai Mara
Our destination today is the jewel in Africa's crown, the Mara host to the most spectacular array of wildlife, which are constantly changing as the plains game follows ancient migration routes under the watchful eyes of the lion, leopard and cheetah that prey on the vulnerable. Three overnights will be at Mara Sarova Tented Camp set on an elevation surrounded by two streams. The Camp is uniquely laid out over the sprawling grounds that include rolling manicured greens, a virtual mini forest of indigenous shrubs and exotic trees. Have lunch and a short rest and later in the afternoon we enjoy a game drive run in the park. Meal plan is full board.

Day 5 & 6: Masai Mara
Have amazing morning and late afternoon game drives or alternatively depart with picnic boxes after breakfast for a full day game drive. Our expert guides are all seasoned-professionals and have an amazing eye for finding the animals, birds and reptiles for which the Masai Mara is so justifiably famous. Your guide will explain the animal behavior – and because of his expertise and experience, will take you to the best locations for the season to maximize your safari experience. Return to the Lodge for a well deserved rest and overnight. Meal plan is full board.

Day 7:  Masai Mara / Nairobi
After breakfast we depart by road for Nairobi to arrive in the late afternoon (lunch is an optional extra). In the evening a complimentary dinner will be provided at the Carnivore a meat specialty restaurant. Later you will be dropped of at your nominated address after an exciting safari.
